OUR STAFF

Michelle F. - Office Manager

With over 18 years of experience in the dental field, Michelle brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and compassion to our practice. As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a background spanning implants, oral surgery, and orthodontics, she offers an in-depth understanding of both patient care and office operations. Her ability to navigate the complexities of dentistry with calm professionalism makes her an invaluable leader.

As our Office Manager, Michelle ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice while fostering a warm, supportive environment for both patients and team members. Her leadership is marked by empathy, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to excellence. Whether she’s mentoring staff or guiding patients through their care, Michelle is known for her calm presence and unwavering dedication.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys trying out new recipes, spending time in nature, and creating meaningful memories with her husband and two children. Her devotion to both her profession and her family is evident in everything she does, and it’s this balance of heart and skill that makes her such a cherished part of our dental family.

Amanda B. RDAEF2 - Dental Assistant with Extended Functions

With over a decade of experience in dentistry, Amanda is our trusted and highly skilled lead clinical assistant. A proud Placerville native, she was raised in the heart of the Sierra foothills, where the values of community, kindness, and connection to nature left a lasting impression. Her local roots give her a unique understanding of the people she serves and a genuine warmth that patients immediately recognize.

Amanda began her dental career as a Registered Dental Assistant and continued to advance her skills, earning her RDAEF (Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions) certification in 2022. This additional training allows her to perform expanded clinical duties such as placing fillings and assisting in more advanced restorative procedures. She’s known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong clinical knowledge, and a calm, compassionate approach that helps patients feel at ease.

Outside of the office, Amanda is an avid outdoorswoman who finds joy and renewal in nature. Growing up near the Sierra Nevada foothills gave her a deep appreciation for the mountains, forests, and open skies that surround her. She loves snowboarding in the winter, hiking winding trails in the warmer months, and spending quiet weekends camping under the stars. Whether it’s a peaceful walk through the woods or a spontaneous mountain adventure, Amanda embraces every chance to disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature. She’s often joined by her loyal dog, who’s just as eager to explore the outdoors as she is.

Nickayah C. RDA - Registered Dental Assistant specialized in Oral Surgery

Born and raised in Placerville, Nikayah brings over 13 years of experience in the dental field to our team. As a dedicated oral surgery assistant, she is an integral part of our implant and fixed prosthetic treatments. Her steady hands, clinical expertise, and genuine passion for oral surgery make her a trusted and essential presence in our surgical care. Known for her joyful spirit and contagious giggle, Nikayah believes that laughter is the best medicine—and her cheerful presence brings lightness and comfort to both patients and staff.

Outside the office, Nikayah expresses her artistic side through drawing and crafts, a passion she lovingly shares with her daughter. Together, they spend time by the river, sketching, creating, and finding inspiration in the beauty around them. Their favorite muse? The sunflower—bright, bold, and full of life, just like Nikayah herself. These moments of creativity are more than hobbies; they are a reflection of her heart and a way of seeing the world with wonder and warmth.

She also enjoys camping, fishing, swimming, and making memories in the great outdoors. Nikayah’s blend of surgical skill, artistic soul, and joyful energy makes her a cherished part of our dental family.

Marissa B, RDH - Dental Hygienist

I have been working in dentistry for about 20+ years now.  I started off as a dental assistant in general practice as well as in the skilled nursing facilities and adult day health centers. I became a hygienist about 7 years ago and was a temp for the first few years of my hygiene career. I have worked for close to 100 different offices over the years and have learned a lot from the dentists and staff I have had the pleasure of meeting along the way.  I enjoy helping people accomplish happy teeth by working with my patients to better their oral health with better regimens and tools, as well as doing my part to give my patients the best cleaning I can and by being a good educator.
