Appointments and Visiting Our Office
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Country Club Dental welcomes new patients from Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs, Rescue, Placerville, and nearby communities. Visit our New Patients page or call (530) 677-4457 to get started.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Call or text our office at (530) 677-4457. Our team will help you select the right type of visit and find an available time that works for you.
What are your office hours?
Our regular office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday appointments may be available by appointment. Please call to confirm availability.
Where is Country Club Dental located?
We are located at 3222 Royal Drive, Suite A, Cameron Park, CA 95682.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your dental insurance information if you plan to use insurance, a current medication list, and any recent dental records or X-rays you may have. If records are unavailable, our team will help determine what is needed during your visit.
Do you offer emergency dental appointments?
Yes. Same-day emergency appointments may be available for tooth pain, swelling, broken teeth, lost restorations, and other urgent dental concerns. Call (530) 677-4457 as early as possible so we can assess the situation and discuss availability.
Insurance, Membership, and Payment
Which dental insurance plans do you accept?
Country Club Dental is contracted with DeltaCare HMO and Delta Dental PPO. We also accept other PPO dental insurance plans. Coverage, deductibles, copays, waiting periods, and patient responsibility vary by plan.
Visit our Insurance and Financing page or call us so our team can review your plan information.
Can your office help me understand my dental benefits?
Yes. Our team can help verify available benefits and provide an estimate of your expected portion before treatment whenever possible. Insurance information is an estimate rather than a guarantee of payment, and final coverage is determined by your insurance plan.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Patients without dental insurance may ask about our in-house membership option and our new-patient special. Our team can explain the current terms and help you compare available payment choices.
What is included in the $99 new-patient special?
The $99 new-patient special is for new patients without dental insurance and includes a comprehensive examination, digital X-rays, and a professional cleaning when clinically appropriate. If your examination shows that a different type of cleaning is needed, our team will explain the findings and review your options before treatment.
What payment and financing options are available?
Ask our team about applying for financing through Sunbit. Approval, available plans, and terms are determined by Sunbit.
We also accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Additional financing options, including CareCredit, Cherry, and Proceed Finance, may be available in the office upon request. Approval, terms, and availability are determined by each financing provider.
Treatment and Patient Experience
What dental services do you provide?
We provide preventive and family dentistry, emergency care, tooth-colored restorations, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, clear aligners, dental implants, All-on-X full-arch treatment, periodontal care, and other personalized dental services. Explore our Services page for more information.
How do you help patients who feel anxious about dental treatment?
We take time to listen, explain findings in plain language, and move at a pace that respects your comfort. Digital photographs and X-rays help us show you what we see, and you are encouraged to ask questions before making treatment decisions.
Will I be pressured to complete all recommended treatment at once?
No. Dr. Eugen Tutunaru follows a conservative, patient-first approach. We explain which concerns are urgent, which should be addressed soon, and which may be monitored. We also review reasonable options, benefits, limitations, and expected costs so you can make an informed decision.
How do I know whether I am a candidate for dental implants?
Implant candidacy depends on your oral health, bone support, medical history, healing factors, and treatment goals. An examination and 3D imaging may be recommended before a personalized plan can be developed. Learn more on our Dental Implant Candidate page.
Do you offer clear aligners?
Yes. We provide clear aligner treatment for appropriate patients who want a discreet, removable way to improve tooth alignment. A consultation is needed to evaluate your bite, tooth position, oral health, and goals. Visit our Clear Aligners page to learn more.
What dental technology do you use?
Our office uses CBCT 3D imaging, digital impressions, high-resolution intraoral photography, and advanced treatment-planning tools. The technology used for your visit depends on your individual diagnostic and treatment needs.
How often should I have a dental examination and cleaning?
The appropriate schedule depends on your oral health, gum condition, cavity risk, medical history, and previous treatment. Many patients benefit from visits about every six months, while others need a different schedule. We will recommend an interval based on your individual needs.
How much notice should I provide if I need to change an appointment?
Please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice whenever possible. This gives our team time to offer the reserved appointment to another patient. Contact the office promptly if an unexpected situation affects your appointment.
Still Have a Question?
Our team is happy to help you understand your options and prepare for your visit.
