FULL-ARCH IMPLANT DENTISTRY

All-on-X Full-Arch Implants in Cameron Park, CA

All-on-X treatment is designed to replace a full arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed implant-supported solution. At Country Club Dental, treatment is carefully planned using modern imaging, thoughtful case evaluation, and clear patient education.

WHAT IS ALL-ON-X?

A Fixed Full-Arch Option for Missing or Failing Teeth

All-on-X is a full-arch implant treatment concept where a complete set of teeth is supported by strategically placed dental implants. The number and position of implants depends on the patient’s anatomy, bone support, bite, health history, and long-term treatment goals.

This treatment can be considered for patients who are missing many teeth, have loose or uncomfortable dentures, or have teeth that cannot predictably be restored.

A complete consultation, x-rays, 3D imaging, periodontal evaluation, bite analysis, and treatment discussion are needed before determining whether All-on-X treatment is appropriate.

WHY PATIENTS CONSIDER ALL-ON-X

Designed to Restore Function, Comfort, and Confidence

Full-arch implant treatment may help patients who want a more stable solution than removable dentures or who need a comprehensive plan for failing teeth.

Fixed Teeth

Implant-supported teeth are designed to stay in place and feel more stable than removable dentures.

Full-Arch Planning

Treatment is planned around the entire arch, bite, smile, facial support, and long-term function.

Personalized Treatment

Each case is different. The plan depends on bone, health, bite forces, esthetic goals, and healing factors.

TREATMENT PROCESS

How the All-on-X Process Works

The exact sequence depends on the patient’s needs, but most full-arch implant cases involve several important planning and treatment steps.

1

Consultation

We review your concerns, health history, dental condition, goals, and expectations.

2

3D Planning

CBCT imaging helps evaluate bone, anatomy, implant positioning, and restorative planning.

3

Surgical Phase

When appropriate, teeth may be removed, implants placed, and healing support used as part of the plan.

4

Restorative Phase

The final restoration is designed for function, esthetics, comfort, and long-term maintenance.

PRF HEALING SUPPORT

Supporting Healing During Full-Arch Implant Treatment

Full-arch implant treatment often involves careful surgical and restorative planning. When appropriate, Dr. Tutunaru may use PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, as part of the healing support process.

PRF is made from a small sample of the patient’s own blood and can be used during implant, extraction, grafting, or surgical procedures to support the body’s natural healing response.

At Country Club Dental, a licensed nurse comes to the office to perform the blood draw, allowing the process to be handled professionally and comfortably.

Why PRF May Be Used

PRF is not needed for every case, but it may be recommended when Dr. Tutunaru believes additional biologic healing support could be helpful.

IS ALL-ON-X RIGHT FOR YOU?

Not Every Patient Is a Candidate

All-on-X can be life-changing for the right patient, but it is not the best option for every situation. A detailed exam is needed to understand your bone support, medical history, gum health, bite, smile goals, and long-term maintenance needs.

You may be evaluated if you have many missing, loose, painful, or failing teeth.
You may need additional procedures such as extractions, bone grafting, periodontal therapy, or staged treatment before implants.
Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, certain medications, bone quality, oral hygiene, and follow-up care can affect healing and long-term outcomes.
Full-arch implant treatment requires maintenance, home care, and regular professional follow-up.
COMMON QUESTIONS

All-on-X Full-Arch Implant FAQs

All-on-X treatment is a significant decision. These questions can help patients understand the process, but a consultation and examination are needed before any treatment recommendation can be made. Learn more about what to expect at a dental implant consultation.

Is All-on-X the same as dentures?

No. Traditional dentures are removable. All-on-X treatment uses dental implants to support a full-arch prosthesis. Depending on the case, the final restoration may feel more stable than a removable denture. Learn more about All-on-X vs dentures.

Who may be a candidate for All-on-X?

Patients with many missing, failing, or non-restorable teeth may be candidates. Bone support, gum health, bite, medical history, smoking status, and healing factors all need to be evaluated first.

How many implants are used?

The number of implants depends on the patient’s anatomy, bone support, bite forces, and treatment plan. “All-on-X” means the number of implants is determined case by case.

Will I get teeth the same day?

Some patients may qualify for a same-day temporary prosthesis, but this depends on implant stability, bone quality, surgical findings, and overall treatment safety. It cannot be guaranteed before evaluation.

What affects healing?

Healing can be affected by oral hygiene, smoking, diabetes, medications, bone quality, bite forces, follow-up care, and overall health. Careful planning and maintenance are important for long-term success.

How do I take care of All-on-X teeth?

Daily cleaning, water flossing or special hygiene tools, regular dental visits, and professional maintenance are important. Implant-supported teeth still require consistent care.
