ROMANIAN ROOTS
A Deep Appreciation for Beauty, History, and Craftsmanship
Originally from Romania, Dr. Tutunaru carries with him a deep appreciation for culture, tradition, beauty, and meaningful work.
His connection to Romania is especially meaningful because his mother was born and raised in Transylvania, a region known for its rolling hills, historic villages, medieval castles, and strong faith.
EDUCATION & RESILIENCE
Trained at Loma Linda University
Dr. Tutunaru earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Completing his dental education during such a challenging time strengthened his resilience and deepened his commitment to thoughtful, patient-centered care.
MUSIC & LEADERSHIP
Service Through Music Ministry
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Tutunaru is actively involved in music ministry. He serves as the Choir and Orchestra Conductor at Granite Bay Hilltop Seventh-day Adventist Church.
His work in music reflects the same values he brings to dentistry: preparation, patience, precision, teamwork, and care for every detail.

Photography, Vintage Lenses, and a Creative Eye
Dr. Tutunaru’s creative interests extend into photography, where he enjoys capturing landscapes through a unique perspective.
His journey began with restoring and customizing vintage film cameras and lenses, drawn to their mechanical elegance and distinctive optical character.
MISSION & SERVICE
A Heart for Serving Communities in Need
Together with his wife and son, Dr. Tutunaru has participated in several dental mission trips, offering care and support in underserved regions including Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
These mission experiences reflect his genuine passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference through his skills and compassion.

At home, Dr. Tutunaru is deeply blessed to share life with his wife, Lavinia, and their son, Mattias.
